Description
The Furch Yellow Gc-SR is a grand auditorium cutaway acoustic built entirely from solid tonewoods - an AAA-grade Sitka spruce top over AA Indian rosewood back and sides - at a price point where that level of wood selection is far from guaranteed. Sitka spruce delivers quick response and dynamic headroom, while Indian rosewood adds low-end depth and harmonic complexity, making this combination effective across fingerstyle, solo, and strumming applications. The cutaway grants clean access to upper-register fret positions, which matters if your playing ventures into melodic or lead territory above the 12th fret. Furch's CNR System uses a carbon-reinforced dual-action truss rod to maintain consistent neck relief and string action over time - a structural advantage worth noting on a guitar you plan to play for years. The ebony fingerboard runs a 15-3/4" radius and a 25-9/16" scale length, and the Soft V neck profile in African mahogany gives you a clear reference point for how this guitar sits in the hand. Gotoh 510 machine heads with a 1:21 gear ratio handle tuning stability, and a fully compensated TUSQ saddle supports accurate intonation across the neck. This version is acoustic-only with no onboard electronics, and it ships with a Hiscox hardshell case. At this price, it also comes with our complimentary PLEK service and a limited lifetime warranty.
